I've been struggling with a creative block of late.

I pick up a drawing tool and I can't get motivated to finish anything.

Sometimes you have to give yourself sometime to play

and not think too much about it, and see what happens.

 This is the cover to the new sketchbook.

I was not happy with the last one, since it was

limited by scanning (didn't lay flat).

I used oil based white paint Sharpie

for the base, and black marker for fine lines.

The line drawings here are done

with a COPIC .5 liner.

 Finding it hard to find a groove on this challenge,

fitting it in to my daily schedule. I guess that's

part of the "challenge".

Justin G. and I were the only attendees.

I did more drawings on transit.

New Brush Pen Doodles.

Breaking in the new brush tips...

sharp, fine lines now, but broadens

with use. Still love to work with them.

Colours are done with Photoshop.

Always done different ways, never

settled on a "method", continuous learning.

Sketch Bag.

Another experiment. Sharpie on acrylic paint,

colour fabric marker. I have to think of a better way 

to use a "spray fix" or another option, it smeared

when I applied the KRYLON over the black line.

Coffee Break Doodles.

It has been a little while since the last post...

very busy at work, but I get a few minutes to sketch

on my coffee breaks.

These are done in a wide format sketchbook.

No structure form beneath, straight inks, red tones added after.

Next month (February) I'll be attempting a doodle/sketch a day.
