Day 87.

 There were a couple of girls on the C-Train platform dressed up in this fashion, not an exact representation, just an impression.

I've been doing lots of little random doodles too. Never know where it goes til you get there.

More rider sketches too. I've got to go direct to ink sometime, these are copies from blue line pencils.

Day 86.

 

 I get to draw on the bus and on the train. Great, but still too long in transit.

I've gotta find a good balance for family, work and personal time. I suppose there are many people in the same situation. Responsiblities are always waiting for us, all a part of life. We do the best we can and try to find a happy fit for the many pieces of this crazy puzzle.

Day 84 Part 2.

Day 84. Theme Day Easter.

 Happy Easter!
I am spending time with family today. The boys had their egg hunt this morning and may have a couple more, before the day is done.
 Gramper strung up gummie worms on the apple tree last year, he could be up to something
creative this year too.  

  On to the drawings. First version (inked) have the rounded features, softer and more traditional. A ittle Bugs Bunny feel to it.

 The second (pencils) has more angular lines. I like the feel of it, but could do more on the clean up. The symmetry  on the head could be better. There is always something to learn from each drawing, we grow with every page completed. I have three sketchbooks on the go, different dimensions, paper and format. It is hard to leave home without one. Am I obssesive? Thanks for coming by. GarSeeYa! 

Day 83.

 Keeping it simple today. One drawing.

 Always fun to play with new characters and invent new ones. How do we get more hours in a day? Never get enough time to draw. If I got to do it everyday, I wonder if I would get sick of it? I'd like to try that for a year or two.  Oh well graphic design on Monday...here we go. It should be an interesting ride? Thanks for coming by. GarSeeYa!

Day 82.

I am considering the anthropomorphic route on this storyline. The animal characteristics would reflect
their position in this society as well as personalities. There is immediate, association with characters, using this route. What do you think? Thanks for looking. GarSeeYa!

Day 81.

A little exercise in logo duplication. Right away we spot the difference in contrast on the UPS logo.

I'm doing this on CDX4 (CDX5 can't activate the full version until Apr 5th, had to be delivered before a holiday.) This is something I get to work on, starting next week. There will be much to learn.

Three more pages of character studies. Personalities and motivations

are starting to form. I have to get it on paper. I am enjoying

the pencil again. I just want to keep on drawing, somedays.
