FDC Day 5

Two challenges covered today, one is February drawing Challenge
and the second is the Sketch Cover Challenge for Alpha Comics.
I took a little more time on this drawing.

Busy drawing day. This one is from Drink and Draw Calgary.
Always an entertaining night with a few creative friends.

Thanks for visiting.

FDC Day 4.

These are a couple of pages from the Moleskin sketchbook,
switching from the 4X6 cards. Playing with my
favourite brush pen and symmetrical designs.

FDC (February Drawing Challenge) Day 2.

2014 February Drawing Challenge

The challenge is to post something creative everyday for the month.
These are for day one a few doodles done at a convention, done on 4" X 6"
index cards using different pens. I'll create at least one image a day.

Thanks for visiting.

Getting Ready for More Conventions!

Waiting for the Walking Dead to start up again in February.

My next comic show is at the Hillhurst,
on February  1st, 2014.

This was my set up at Lethbridge Expo.

I have also applied for a spot at the Vancouver expo,
waiting for confirmation, and will update on more shows.

Thank you.  GarSeeYa!

Arrow and Perlman.

Stephen Amel and Ron Perlman
are two more guests lined up for the Edmonton Expo.
Keeping busy as the list unfolds.

I am using white out pens for highlights,
big juicy brushes for the long strokes.

I scratch it up with a knife, giving
a nice rough surface.

Fun to do and more to come.

 Thank you.

The Bride of Frankenstein.

This is my most recent piece of movie
inspired work.

This was a very organic process,
starting with the monsters face and finishing with the bride.
Black in applied with kuretake and dry brush.
White highlights are done with a white correction pen.

Thanks for visiting.
